Medical Cutoff Formula for Maths Biology Group

This formula is aplicable for Maths biology, Computer science, Micro biology, Bio chemistry, Nursing, Home science, Nutrition and dietics , Engineering for communication groups.

( Biology marks for 200 )    / 2 = 100  +

( Physics marks for 200 )    / 4 =  50  +

( Chemistry marks for 200 ) /4 =  50

Total is the Cutoff                 =  200

Decimals of 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 in this calculation will be considered for ranking. You should not round off the cut-off marks. Your 0.25 or 0.5 or 0.75 marks might be the crucial one while considered for ranking.

Medical Cutoff Example

A student of Maths Bilogy group scores 197 marks in Biology, 192 in Physics and 181. His cutoff mark is calculated as below,

Biology marks : 197/2    =        98.50   +

Physics marks  : 192/4    =        48.00   +

Chemistry marks : 181/4 =        45.25

Medical Cutoff       =    191.75

Medical Cutoff Formula for Science Group

(Botany marks for 200 )   /4    =      50   +

(Zoology marks for 200 ) /4    =      50   +

(Physics marks for 200 )   /4    =      50   +

(Chemistry marks for 200 ) /4  =      50

Total is the Cutoff                     =      200

Medical Cutoff Example

A student from pure science group scores 191 marks in Botany, 188 marks in Zoology, 193 in Physics and 180 in Chemistry. His cutoff mark is calculated as below,

Botany marks    191/4 = 47.75  +

Zoology marks : 188/4 = 47.00  +

Physics marks :  193/4 = 48.25  +

Chemistry marks : 180/4 = 45.00

Medical Cutoff      = 188.00
